New Features and Enhancements:

1.Enable the “On-demand Account” System Architecture
In order to support some deployment scenarios, where retail customers or casual visitors wish to pay and get the Internet access, the system should allow chargeable user accounts that can be created upon request. Unlike the original type of user accounts (Instant Account for guest users; free of charge) in previous firmware (2.00.00 or earlier), this new type of user accounts can be used to charge users for the Internet access. The related features include:
•	Upgrade to 10 Billing Plans and include the price information in each billing plan.
•	Add Cut-off type of billing, in addition to original Time and Volume-based types.
•	Add an option of background image for the customization of On-demand account ticket/receipt.
•	Add an option of Remark field for each created On-demand account, which will be useful to 	identify or search for any specific accounts during actual operation.

2.Enable 3 Levels of Management Accounts With different privilege levels of accounts:
•	Admin: Has fully access of the DSA-3600.
•	Manager: Has access of “User” management including Authentication, Black List, Policy and 	Additional Control.
•	Operator: Only has access of “On-demand Account Creation”.

3.Enhancement of AP Management Support Non-ROM format AP firmware:
•	In previous firmware (2.00.00 or earlier), it is required to use the AP firmware in .rom 	format for related functions of AP Management (AP firmware upload and upgrade).
•	Starting from this version, there is no need for the AP firmware to be in .rom format.
	Support for DWL-2100AP v2.30jp, H/W version 4.

4.Additional Features
•	Traffic counts of WAN1 and WAN2 interfaces.
•	Setup Wizard automatically starts upon first boot after reset to factory default.
•	Support for external payment gateway (PayPal) for automating the payment and account 	creation.
•	Add an option on login page to remember both the username and password in browser.
•	"Login Success" page stays in the same webpage as Login Page; no pop-up window any more.
•	Add an option of logo and background images for customization of Template Login Page.
•	Provide monthly network usage report for Local accounts.
•	Add an Enable/Disable option for Email Message for Login Reminding; by default it is 	disabled.
•	Disallow restoring configuration backup from previous non-compatible firmware

Known Issues:
From Previous Release:
1.Windows Vista Client Support – Local VPN Connection
In order for Windows Vista’s clients to support Local PPTP VPN, the Remote VPN option has to be enabled. Without enabling the Remote VPN option, the Local PPTP VPN tunnel will not be established, and the users will still be authenticated to gain access to the network.

From Current Release:
2.Configuration Backup
Due to redesign of database architecture, DSA-3600 will not able to use previous firmware (2.00.00 or earlier)’ configuration file.
