QoS Global Parameters

The Global Parameters window enables or disables a policy on a device. Policies are sets of profiles and rules that allow network traffic management.

The Global Parameters window  displays the following field:

• Policy Enabled — Disables or enables policy on the device.

• Policy Reserved BW — Specifies the amount of bandwidth reserved for Best Effort traffic.

To view Global Parameters window:

1. On the Menu Bar, click QoS.

2. On the QoS menu, click Global Parameters. The Global Parameters window is displayed.

To enable or disable policy on the device:

1. Display the Global Parameters window.

2. From the drop-down list, select either Disabled or Enabled.

3. Click . When the Status field displays “Finished!”, the policy status is changed.
