The Global ARP Table window displays the following parameters:
Interface — The interface number on which the station resides.
IP Address — The station IP address.
MAC Address — The station MAC address.
Class — Entry type:
Dynamic — The entry is learned from the ARP protocol. If the entry is not active for a predetermined time, the node is deleted from the table.
Static — The entry is configured by the network management station and is permanent.
To
list entries from a specific field onwards
In the Read From field select from which interface to start building the table entries displayed.
Click the button.
The table displays only entries from the selected interface onwards.
To add an ARP Table entry:
Click . The Global ARP Table Insert window is displayed.
Complete the table
entry fields and click . The Global ARP Table
window is displayed.
Click . When the Status field displays “Finished!”,
the entry is confirmed as created.
To edit an ARP Table entry:
Click . The Global ARP Table Edit window is displayed.
Edit the required
table entry fields and click . The Global ARP Table
window is displayed.
Click . When the Status field displays “Finished!”,
the fields are confirmed as modified.
To delete an ARP Table entry:
Select the entry to delete.
Click .
Click . When the Status field displays “Finished!”,
the entry is confirmed as deleted.
