Edit Device List

Devices listed on the Device List allows the display of a device Zoom View by selecting its name from the Device list (the IP address of the selected device is displayed automatically), and pressing <Enter>.

There are three methods to access the Edit Device List window:

• From the Main Window, press Ctrl + D.

• In the Main Window while pressing Ctrl, right click inside the device IP field.

• From the Main Window press the Options button. The Options - Configuration window is displayed. Click the Edit Device List button. The Edit the Device List screen is displayed.

In this window, you can configure names for the devices of the network. Adding these user-defined device names as default to the NMS main window Device list will allow you to open the Zoom View of a device by selecting its name from the Device list (the IP address of the selected device will be displayed automatically).

To add a new entry to the Device list:

1. Click .

2. In the Insert a Device dialog box, enter the name and the IP address of the new device.

3. Click ; OR press Enter.

   The new device name appears in the list of the Edit Device List window.

To make a device the default in the Device list:

1. Double-click a device name; OR select a device name and click the Default button.

2. Click .

To modify a device in the Device list:

1. Click the device name on the Device List.

2. Click .

3. Modify the device name or IP address.

4. Click ; OR press Enter.
