IP RIP filtering improves aggregate routing performance. Defining IP RIP filters enables the reduction of the RIP table size to the relevant IP subnets, allowing for a faster table lookup and relearning.
The IP RIP Filter window displays the following details:
IP Address — The Interface IP address.
Interface Number — The pre-assigned Interface number.
There are two added filters:
