Update EWS Files

The NMS has the capability of operating through an Embedded Web environment. To make this feature available and functional, specific files are to be maintained. These files are as follows:

• NMS Java Classes—Required for linking screens for the GUI.

• NMS Scripts—Required for building GUI screens.

• NMS Help—Required for linking to GUI.

• NMS Loading software—Required to run the application.

Update Embedded Web Server Files

To update the EWS files:

1. Select which files are being updated. The default is all the files are selected. For a first time installation, all the files must be selected. The files are selected by checking the appropriate check-box.

2. Click  . Each file selected is downloaded and in a top down sequence. The download process is displayed in the Progress Status incremental bar field.

3. On completion of the download process, the Device Reset Prompt window is displayed.

4. Click Reset to reset the device. The Resetting window is displayed.

5. The device is reset and the Reset Complete window prompt is displayed.

6. Click OK.

7. Go to the Menu Bar command Security and update the Web User Authorization Table.
