Storm Control Table

The Storm Control Table displays the following parameters:

• Port — Specifies the port number on which Storm Control is enabled.

• Group — Specifies the group to which the port belongs.

• Rate Type — Indicates the rate type for storm control. The possible values are:

  • Packets Per Second

  • Bytes Per Second

• Unknown Unicast Enable — Enables storm control for unknown unicast packets. The default is false. The possible values are:

  • True — Enables storm control for unknown unicast packets.

  • False — Disables storm control for unknown unicast packets.

• Unknown Unicast Rate — Sets the unknown unicast packet rate limit for storm control. The default is 0.

• Broadcast Enable — Enables storm control for unknown broadcast packets.

• Broadcast Rate — Enables storm control for unknown Broadcast packets. The default is false. The possible values are:

  • True — Enables storm control for unknown Broadcast packets.

  • False — Disables storm control for unknown Broadcast packets.

Edit Storm Control Table Entry

To edit an Storm Control Table entry:

1. Click  . The Storm Control Table Edit window is displayed.

2. Edit the required table entry fields and click  . The Storm Control VLAN Table window is displayed.

3. Click  . When the Status field displays “Finished!”, the fields are confirmed as modified.
