PIM Parameters

The PIM Parameters window provides information on the PIM MIB version currently being used for multicast routing.

The PIM Parameters window displays the following fields:

• PIM MIB Version — Identifies the PIM MIB version currently being used for multicast routing.

• PIM Enable — To enable PIM.

To view the PIM Parameters window:

1. On the Menu Bar, click IPM.

2. On the IPM menu, point to PIM and click Parameters. The PIM Parameters window is displayed.

To enable PIM:

1. Display the PIM Parameters window.

2. From the drop-down list in the PIM Enable field, select either Disabled or Enabled.

3. Click . When the Status field displays “Finished!”, the PIM is enabled or disabled.
