QoS IP Rules Table

The IP Rules Table is to define the filters that determine which network traffic is managed. The IP Rules Table contains two types of filters:

The fields that appear in the IP Rules Table, are the selected IP Classification Fields.

Note: Before adding rules  to the IP Rules Table ensure the IP Classification Fields are defined.

The   IP Rules Table has the following fields:

Note: The first rule matching a packet is applied, therefore, the order of the rules in the Rule Table is important.

To view the IP Rules Table window:

  1. On the Menu Bar, click QoS.

  2. On the QoS menu, point to IP and click   Profile table. The IP Rules Table window is displayed.

Add a New IP Rule

To add a new IP Rule:

  1. Click  . The IP Rules Insert window is displayed.

  2. The   IP Rules Insert has the following tabs:

General Tab

The General Tab has the following fields:

Classification Tab

The Classification Tab has the following fields:

Input Ports

The Inputs Ports Tab has the following fields:

Double-Click on a port in the Optional Input Port pane to select it. It is moved over to the Selected Input Ports pane.

Action

The Action Tab has the following fields:

Double-Click on a port in the Optional Output Port pane to select it. It is moved over to the Selected Output Ports pane.

Profiles

The Profiles Tab has the following fields:

  1. Complete the fields in all the tabs and click  . The IP Rules Table window is displayed.

  2. Click  . When the Status field displays “Finished!”, the entry is confirmed as created.

Edit an IP Rule

To edit an existing Rule:

  1. Select a profile and click  . The IP Rules Table Edit window is displayed.

  2. Edit the required profile fields and click  . The IP Rules Table window is displayed.

  1. Click  . When the Status field displays “Finished!”, the fields are confirmed as modified.

Delete an IP Rule

To delete an existing Rule:

  1. Select the entry to delete.

  2. Click  .

  1. Click  . When the Status field displays “Finished!”, the entry is confirmed as deleted.
