Device Error

If attempting to connect to a non-existing device (for example, by entering a wrong IP address), the Device Error message is displayed prompting a reconnection.

Re-attempt a Connection to a Device

  To re-attempt a connection to a Device:

  1. In the IP address field, modify the IP address to the correct address.

  2. Click . A connection to the device is attempted. If the IP address is correct and the connection is completed, the NMS Zoom View is displayed. If the attempt fails, the Device Error message is displayed.

Cancel the Connection Attempt

  To cancel the Connection Attempt to a Device:

  1. Click . The Main Window is displayed.
