IP Redundancy Table

To activate the IP redundancy process, enable the IP Redundancy field in the IP Router Operating Parameters window.

The IP Redundancy Table window displays the following parameters:

• Interface IP Address — The IP address that the redundancy feature is running on.

• Main Router Address — The router IP address that the devices backing up.

• Operating Status — The entry status:

• Active — The backup router is active on this interface.

• Inactive — The backup router is not active on this interface.

• Poll Interval — This router-polling interval, in seconds. If the interval is 0 then the router is not polled.

• Time Out — The interval in seconds during which the router must signal. If the router does not signal within this interval, it is considered non-operational. If Time Out is equal to 0, the device ignores the table entry.

Add IP Redundancy Table Entry

To add an IP Redundancy Table entry:

1. Click  . The IP Redundancy Table Insert window is displayed.

2. Complete the table entry fields and click  . The IP Redundancy Table window is displayed.

3. Click  . When the Status field displays “Finished!”, the entry is confirmed as created.

Edit  IP Redundancy Table Entry

To edit an IP Redundancy Table entry:

1. Click  . The IP Redundancy Table Edit window is displayed.

2. Edit the required table entry fields and click  . The IP Redundancy Table window is displayed.

3. Click  . When the Status field displays “Finished!”, the fields are confirmed as modified.

Delete  IP Redundancy Table Entry

To delete an IP Redundancy Table entry:

1. Select the entry to delete.

2. Click  .

3. Click  . When the Status field displays “Finished!”, the entry is confirmed as deleted.
